I gained my Cambridge CELTA (or CTEFLA, as it was called back then) in 1991 and  have been an ELT  professional since 1992. My first teaching job was in milan (Italy). In my 33+ years' experience (and counting!), I have worked as :

• a teacher of English for Exam Preparation, General, Academic and Specific Purposes,
• a trainer for CELTA and DELTA,
• an assessor for CELTA and DELTA,
• a Cambridge and IELTS examiner,
• an academic manager, and
• a school founder / director.

I spent most of my career in Italy, but I have also worked in Bulgaria, China, Czechia, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, the UK, the USA and (of course!) online. 

I am a lifelong learner and have gained these qualifications over the years:
